The Pont des Arts, Seine, and Louvre Courtyard—All in One Engagement Session with Kathryn and Tomás!

Kathryn and Tomás know Paris well, and they knew exactly where they wanted to go for their engagement photos!

I loved their choice of stunning locations in the very center of the city.

We met at the Pont des Arts, affectionately known as the love lock bridge to many. (Sadly, the locks were taken down a few years ago for safety reasons—they were heavy!—but the bridge’s new glass railing makes for some gorgeous photos still!)

From there, we walked down to the banks of the Seine for some photos by the water, and then finished up in the courtyard of the Louvre!

One thing I especially loved about these locations is that, while they’re typically Parisian, they’re not very in-your-face about it.

In fact, aside from the one photo in this series with the Louvre in the background, the Louvre photos aren’t even obviously at the Louvre! It was the perfect area for a couple who sees Paris as a home more than a destination.

Congratulations on your engagement, Kathryn and Tomás! I’m so happy for you both, and I hope you have an amazing life together, full of long city walks and laughter.
